HEG Safe Beer Line Cleaner — Alkaline Replacement

This draft line cleaner removes yeast, proteins, hop resins and biofilm without hazardous caustic compounds. Traditional beer tap line cleaner solutions rely on harsh caustic agents, creating handling hazards. Our alkaline beer line cleaner employs surfactant technology to break down biological material at higher pH levels. The beer line cleaning chemical disrupts protein bonds and dissolves organic buildup while remaining compatible with draft components.
Low-foam characteristics distinguish this brewery line cleaner from typical products. Reduced foam allows extended surface contact, improving deposit removal in keg line cleaner applications.

Use a 2%–3% cleaning solution (3–4 ounces) of HEG Alkaline
Replacement Safe Beer Line Cleaner per gallon of water and
circulate solution for 15–20 minutes depending on the buildup.
Increase ounces as needed for more heavily soiled lines. Flush
lines with clean water for 15 minutes. After cleaning, test rinse
water with litmus paper or phenolphthalein to ensure a pH
between 7–8. To maintain fresh clean lines, cleaning is
recommended every 2 weeks.

Wear protective eye wear. In the event of eye contact rinse eyes with
water. Extended exposure or soaking in product may cause stinging in
open sores, cuts or around fingernails. Use of nitrile gloves is
suggested. Product will affect aluminum and dull or peel paint and
decals. As with any cleaners keep out of reach of children. For
