CX2
CX2 is manufactured and designed to be used in conjunction with Heartland Energy Group’s synthetic acid systems. CX2 safely and effectively provides operators an alternative to commonly used harsh inhibitors that have dominated the market. CX2 reduces general attack, pitting or localized attack on alloys found in the oilfield at a wide range of pressures and temperatures. CX2 has been extensively tested at the university level on wireline, 316 stainless steel, J55, N80, L80, P-110, and QT-900. CX2 is a non-foaming alternative that offers maximum protection to oilfield equipment.

Based on the temperature and the desired rate of inhibition, add CX2 at ¼ to 2 percent by volume of the overall acid system. Performance testing is always suggested prior to use to properly evaluate the potential corrosion of the application. CX2 is compatible with Oil Safe AR® and is recommended for most high temperature applications. Consult a Heartland representative for recommendations.
Rinse empty container with water and discard as per federal, state and local guidelines.
CX2 is packaged in 5 gallon to 275 gallon containers. Bulk quantities are available upon request.
